There are so many Insta-ready spots around Biei! Your Dohoku Local will take you to some quiet spots that most tourists won't know for a short, fun photoshoot before you head to a trendy cafe in central Biei.

Are you in need of some new shots for your Instagram profile? Is your trip a special one, and you'd like a few nice photos to mark the occasion? Team up with a Dohoku Local for a short, amateur photoshoot in Biei! You'll hit up two spots known only to locals where your Dohoku Local can take as many shots as you like. Don't worry if you're not sure about posing - they are happy to direct you!
After having fun with the photoshoot, you'll head back to central Biei for a drink and a snack in a local cafe. If you'd like to continue taking photos at the cafe, that can certainly be done!
This is a great tour for couples, friends, online personalities or just solo travellers who want to record some fun memories of their trip. There is no cap on the number of photos you'll be sent, but you can expect about 100 ~ 200 shots. The photos can be sent to you as unedited JPGs for you to touch up on your own as you like or you can leave the editing to your Dohoku Local!
Note that we won't go to any popular sightseeing spots for this photoshoot (e.g. Blue Pond, flower meadows etc). This is because these locations can be a bit crowded, making it hard to get good portraits. However, if you have a particular scene in mind, don't hesitate to let us know!

This is not a guiding service and we may not be able to go to the location of your choice. If you would prefer to have a photographer tag along with your personal sightseeing, see Personal Photographer.

Photos will be sent to you in data format. Prints cannot be arranged. Photo data will be deleted 30 days after being sent to you and cannot be recovered if it is not downloaded before this time limit.

If you have any special requests for a particularly special moment that you'd like to capture on camera, please let us know when booking - we will do our best to help! (If you would like flower bouquets, birthday balloons etc then additional fees may apply.)

Please check the special terms for this experience as below.
1. If you are not using a rental car: Max 4 people. If you are using a rental car: Up to 6 people possible.
2. If you are travelling with children aged 6 and below, you must use your own rental car. By Japanese law, children under 6 must have a car seat and the photographer is unfortunately not able to provide one for you. Unfortunately, if you are a family with children under 6 not using a rental car, we will have to turn down your request.

Terms & Conditions
We know, it's boring.
But if you'd like to join an experience, there are some particulars.
We appreciate your taking the time to read this before booking!
1. Please confirm the special terms for this tour before booking regarding maximum number of participants and the minimum age. 2. Bookings are accepted a minimum of 3 days in advance. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings later than this. 3. Please let us know if your photoshoot is for a surprise or a special occasion (proposal, anniversary, birthday etc). We can arrange special gifts or props (e.g. flower bouquets, cake, balloons) for an additional fee. 4. Your photos will be edited and retouched (skin smoothed, colour adjustment etc). If you have any special editing requests (e.g. removing acne, softening age lines etc) then please let us know. Note that we cannot grant complex editing requests (e.g. photoshopping out crowds, changing cloudy skies to sunny skies etc). Photo editing can take a little while (as long as 3 weeks). Please be patient with us! 5. Your photos will be sent to you via a file share link. The link will be available for 30 days before being deleted. We cannot arrange photography prints for you, but you may use the data to arrange prints for your personal use in your home country. 6. The photographer retains the copyright for their work, though you have permission to use the photos for whatever personal use you like without crediting them (social media, personal prints for your home etc). However, please do not use the photos for commercial purposes or to make a personal profit (e.g. for use on mugs or t-shirts to sell to the general public). 7. Aggressive or threatening behaviour towards the interpreter and / or photographer will not be tolerated. 8. The participant accepts that they bear responsibility for any accident or injury, except for those caused by negligence or poor behaviour on the part of their Dohoku Local. 9. If there is any damage to photography equipment caused by the participant's poor behaviour (e.g. grabbing and dropping the photographer's camera), they will be held liable for the full cost of its replacement. 10. This tour requires a deposit and can only be booked via Paypal. 11. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation on the spot with no refund given if any of the T&C are breached. 12. Cancellation Policy: Full refund if cancelled by you, the participant, more than 24 hours before the experience. 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of the experience. Unfortunately we do not accept illness or injury as mitigating circumstances. If we have to cancel the experience due to unforeseen circumstances on Dohoku Local's end, a full refund will be given.
